Ever since I posted on African shipping container design back on 17 February, I keep finding more and more examples of these giant metal boxes utilised in modern African architecture.

When I visited Durban last year I stayed at a cafe that offered boutique accommodation [The Concierge] as part of its set up; a Melbourne girl does need to be close to her daily coffee you know! Aptly named the Freedom Cafe it is tucked away just out of the city centre in Greyville.
