I have always had a thing for treehouses since I was a child. I grew up watching the 70s television series The Swiss Family Robinson and was enthralled with their amazing treehouse, complete with swinging ropes and trap doors.
The idea of living high up in the tree canopy with the birds and the fresh air has been reinvented in Africa. A humble treehouse no longer, instead these modern tribal tree lodgings are seriously luxurious and give a whole new meaning to a bird's eye view of the world.
