I love how nature is the inspiration behind some of the beautiful and unique lighting you find in African homes, lodges and hotels.

Such as these weaver bird nest inspired pendants [image 1] featured in photographer Micky Hoyle's Cape Town home and the incredible hippo skeleton [image 3] re-purposed as a dining room chandelier in the luxurious safari style residence of Leobo Private Reserve in South Africa's Waterberg mountains.
