Yoruba beaded chairs

Yoruba beaded chairs

I have been a long-time admirer of the amazing Yoruba bead chair from Nigeria [West Africa].

Eclectic and colourful each arm chair takes master craftsmen months to create, using century-old Yoruba tribe seed beading techniques.

Originally made for Kings and Queens as royal thrones, today these chairs are functional art for the modern, travel-inspired home decorator.
