My creative inspiration was well and truly nourished during Melbourne Design Week (18-28 May) with a visit to the 2023 Melbourne Design Fair. This was my first visit to this event (in its second year) and I must say I was blown away by the calibre of craft / art and the variety of artisans, objects, furniture and lighting on display; ‘Australia’s largest presentation of contemporary and twentieth century collectible design, curated by the National Gallery of Victoria and delivered in collaboration with the Melbourne Art Foundation.’ (Melbourne Design Fair and NGV 2023).
