The Zulu people are the largest tribal group of South Africa. Worn by Zulu women to indicate their married status this traditional style headdress [Zulu: isicholo] is akin to a wedding ring.
- A tightly woven grass basket forms the shape of the hat.
- Cotton cloth is stretched over the basket and finished with wool stitching in a circular pattern.
- Display singulary or as a pair on the wall, create a gallery wall with artwork and objects or mount on a stand to display on a console or sideboard.
