Traditionally bead work of the Zulu people is the domain of women, beading to create jewellery and as decoration on clothing. Bead skills are passed from mother to daughter through generations, with the colourful craft / art form always evolving.
- Crafted by hand as a one-of-a-kind collectors piece.
- Made from cardboard, fabric, wire and glass beads.
- Each Zulu Doll tells a story of its maker, the red makoti hat symbolises a married Zulu woman.
- Made by the renowned Zulu bead artists from the Siyazama Project in KwaZulu Natal.
